HOORAY…We have found Masha a permanent home.

Masha must be relocated to a urgently.

With tensions and the threat of the conflict escalating with Russia we need to get Masha relocated as soon as possible to Romania. What was to be a normal relocation has turned into something very urgent to get her out. Foreign Embassies in Ukraine are telling their non-essential staff and the family members to leave Ukraine. The war has been ongoing since 2014 but this is the first time it has escalated to this level. Will you help us to get Masha moved.

We along with SOS Zoo and Bear Rescue, rescued Masha in 2018 and have cared for her ever since but we were constantly trying to find her a ‘furever’ home at a sanctuary but we never had any luck as all the sanctuaries in Ukraine are full. We even looked at sending her to a sanctuary in the USA but that would have been far to expensive and the distance and time to do the trip would have been extremely stressful for her. We have now found her a home at AMP Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Romania.

We are now have CITES Export & Import permits and permission from the Romanian government to bring her to AMP Libearty Bear Sanctuary.  Winter is upon us and with most of the trip through the Carpathian mountains which are already covered in snow makes the trip so much more dangerous and difficult. We are also very wary of doing sedation when its to cold so we will monitor the weather and make the move as soon as possible.
